Kama Sutra at Sibaya

Karou Charou is back at Sibaya's iZulu Theatre with the brutally-funny Kama Sutra 2.

AFTER the sell-out success of his brutally-funny one-man show, Kama Sutra, Karou Charou, undoubtedly one of South Africa’s foremost Indian comedians, is bringing the next installment, Kama Sutra 2, to Sibaya Casino’s iZulu Theatre on 13, 14 and 15 March.

Charou, who is also well-known for his two-man comedy show Beauty and da Charou with Beauty Ramapelepele, earned rave reviews for Kama Sutra at sell-out shows in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Nelspruit.

The much-anticipated sequel is another wickedly funny one-man show that provides no holds-barred insight into sex and sexuality in the Indian community. Using a combination of slide shows, interesting props and crass, below the belt toilet humour, Charou takes hisaudience on a 90 minute journey of discovery.

While the charismatic Charou is the star of the show, his trademark forays into the audience ensures that they are just as much a part of it. Charou’s unscripted, improvised banter, often with hilarious results, is a skill that not many others can boast. It is testament to his ability to move away from his prepared script and rely on his quick wit.

Ticket prices vary between R80 and R150 and are available at the Sibaya Box Office and Computicket.
