Gee Jays kick off season

Catch the Gee Jays in their first show of the year at Tina's Hotel, Kloof.

THE Gee Jays kick off the 2015 season at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof with a special compilation show of some of their finest and funniest material.

The Gee Jays, namely Gary McKenzie, Grant Bell and John Didlick, will be staging “Snippets”, a selection of songs and sketches from all their shows, on 30 and 31 January and 1 February.

The show will include excerpts from their first smash hit shows “Not The Full Monty”, “The Three Tonners” and “Book Club” to their later successes, “Bad Moon Rising”, “Who’s Your Daddy” and “Boep Idles”.

Expect all the old favourites from The Beatles to Roy Orbison, Michael Jackson to Elvis and Tom Jones to Robbie Wessels. Re-visit how men can multi-task. There will be some brain numbing red-neck antics and even a message from “The Arch” thrown in for good measure.

The show, however, is not for the feint hearted and does carry a health warning. Some slight pain in the cheek muscles and tummy may be experienced. Stay away if you have misplaced your sense of humour.

The show runs for three performances and will presented in supper theatre format. Buffet supper will be served from 7pm. The show starts at 8.30pm, and on Sunday, lunch (carvery) is from 12.30pm with the show starting at 2pm.

Tickets are R195 for the meal and show. There is a show only option available at R120 (no meal included).

Enquiries and bookings can be made on 031 764 7843.
