GET ready for the ultimate 80s party experience with Durban’s favourite old skool DJ, Trevor Williams, at Sky Venue, on the 31st floor of the iconic Southern Sun Maharani Tower, on Saturday, 31 January.
Audiences will revel in nostalgia as they embrace the hit tracks of the 80s at one of Durban’s most picturesque locations, along with retro fashion, dinner and dance.
Smash hits likely to thrill crowds include tracks from bands like Duran Duran, The Police and Dire Straits, while on the pop synth scene enjoy The Human League, Culture Club, Thompson Twins, Depeche Mode and many more. Enjoy more rocky sounds of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Steve Miller Band, Blondie and Talking Heads, on the pop front Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel from Genesis topping the charts, while Williams will feature alternative music with bands such as REM, The Cure and Violent Femmes.
Cost is R380 which includes dinner and a welcome drink on arrival. The fun begins at 7pm. Dress in your favourite 80s gear.
