WATCH: Aussie surfs dead whale – sharks follow (Video)

A video of a man who climbed on to a dead humpback whale that attracted sharks in Australian waters on Saturday has become an internet sensation.

The dead whale had been floating for some time and was surrounded by sharks when the man allegedly braved the shark-infested waters and swam out to the humpback  carcass and climbed on top of it.

The man, identified as 26-year-old Harrison Williams, claims he had been trying to save the whale.
