Hungry for comedy?

Curry Balls Comedy Jam, is the new comedy feast cooked-up and ready to be served on the humour hungry at Sibaya this weekend.

ONE of South Africa’s funniest and most sought-after comedians, Marc Lottering, heads-up the comedy feast that is cooked-up and ready to be served to Durban’s comedy fans. Curry Balls Comedy Jam will see the ever-popular comedy giant share the stage with a colourful kaleidoscope of local comedy acts at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre this weekend 29, 30 and 31 August.

Some of Durban’s best white, black, Indian, Muslim and coloured comedians will feature together on one stage in a truly multicultural comedy show which has never been done in Durban before. Curry Balls promises to be the most culturally funny show to ever hit Durban as comedians tell hilarious tales about living in the city – from their own unique perspectives.

Amongst the local comedians taking part are radio jock, Neville Pillay and alter ego Top Dan, Masood Boomgaard and the side-splitting Neil Green, Jem Atkins, and Liam E. They will address stereotypes and the joys and aggravations of living in South Africa. Lottering will no doubt be in top form as he cooks-up a buffet of laughter.

Tickets cost R120 or R150 per person, depending on seating, and are available from the Sibaya Box Office. The show is age restricted 13. Shows start at 8pm on 29 and 30 August, and at 3pm 31 August.
