Party with Mi Casa at uShaka

Enjoy live music performances at uShaka Marine World this weekend.

USHAKA Marine World is celebrating its tenth birthday in 2014 with a party weekend of fun on Saturday, 3 May and Sunday, 4 May.

The park will be open from 10am to 10pm on Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday. First on the line-up on Saturday, 3 May, is LCNVL – otherwise known as Locnville – who will be taking to the stage to play songs from their new studio album “The Odyssey” including popular hit ‘Desperado’.

After this cracker of a start, another best lived household band, Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels, will entertain. Best known for its uplifting and up tempo sound, the band will perform some of their best known renditions including “Give me hope Jo’Anna”, “I don’t want to dance,” “I love to truck”, “If you wanna be happy” and more.

Mi Casa will perform for uShaka fans on 4 May. This Johannesburg trio – Dr Duda (producer and pianist), Jsomething (vocalist and guitarist) and Mo-T (trumpeter) – joined up in early 2011. Since then, they have received several awards including the South African Music Award for MTN Record of the Year, the South African Music Award for Best Dance Album and the South African Music Award for Highest Airplay of the Year. Mi Casa’s signature songs include “These Streets”, “Heavenly Sent”, “Jika” and “Turn you on”.
