Enter Sun City Ultra triathlon
The next event in the 2020 Ultra Series is the Sun City Ultra on 3 May.
THE 2020 Durban Ultra Triathlon, presented by FNB, at Suncoast was an epic race in testing conditions.
Heat, humidity and gusty winds pushed the athletes into their red zones, however the new bike and run courses were a huge success and paved the way for some fast times, like James Cunnama’s Ultra winning time of 3hrs52min.
Annah Watkinson won the women’s Ultra, which was a drama filled race, seeing Emma Pallent and Lauren Cannon both falling out of the race due to heat exhaustion and dehydration.
Matthew Greer and Shanae Williams won the Durban Ultra Sprint Race in good times against some strong competition.
The next event in the 2020 Ultra Series is the Sun City Ultra on 3 May.
