THE Bob Jubber Chicken Run on Wednesday, 19 February was abandoned due to rain.

Upcoming events: Berea Sponsored Mixed Drawn Trips on Sunday, 1 March. Registration is at 8.30am for a 9am start. Cost is R25 per person, which includes sandwiches, tea and coffee with cash sponsored prizes. Egg and bacon rolls will be on sale prior to bowls. Dress code: Club Colours/Whites only.

PAST week’s results: Tuesday eThekwini CV Joint Specialist 2-4-2 Drawn Pairs was won by Johnny Goosen and Anthony Groenewald.

Friday’s Mufti bowls: 1st: Johnny Goosen and Malgorzata Krajewski; 2nd: Shane Roelofse, Dennis Groenewald and Jeff Sibson; 3rd: Anthony Groenewald, Larry O Brien and Kim Christensen; 4th: Mike Kleinhans and Alicja Jankowski.

Upcoming events: Friday’s Mufti bowls at 3.45pm; Tabs In on Saturday at 1.30pm and on Sunday at 9am. All bowlers welcome.
