FNB Durban 10km run moves to July

The FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN will move from October to July this year.

IN addition to celebrating its 4th anniversary, the FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN also has a new date in 2020 with the event moving from October, as hosted in previous years, to Sunday, 12 July.

Agne du Plessis, Stillwater Sports Head of Road Running said: “To continue raking in the records and possibly one day boast a world record on SA soil, we also need near perfect weather conditions on event day. This, however, cannot be guaranteed in Durban in October. This is one of the reasons why we’ve decided to move the event to July, one of the drier and less windy months in Durban.”

The event starts at Blue Lagoon (Athlone Drive) and finishes at the Beachfront Precinct near The Bike and Bean.

Standard Fee is R195 (licensed) and R225 (unlicensed) and a Gold Package Fee is R850 (licensed) and R880 (unlicensed).

Support charities The Reach For A Dream Foundation, TREE, Durban and Coast SPCA, LIV Village and/or iThemba Lethu.

Entries opened on Monday, 3 February. Visit: www.durban10k.com.
