WITH just over two weeks left before entries close, Durban athletes are urged to enter the Durban Ultra Triathlon.
The Durban Ultra made its return to Durban in 2017 after a 20-year hiatus and has steadily built a reputation for being one of the most scenic, fun triathlons in South Africa. The 2020 is expected to draw more than 1000 athletes who will tackle the event under predicted calm conditions. The event offers a sprint and an ultra distance 70.3km race for novices and professionals, both of which can be done in relay teams of two or three.
Entries are filling up quickly and the closing date for entries is set for 5 February. Entries are limited to 500 Ultra and 800 Sprint competitors, ensuring a safe and enjoyable racing experience over the whole race course.
