DPHS wins the D&D A league
Durban Prep won the Boys' A league at the Durban and District Gala on Friday.
DURBAN Preparatory High School’s (DPHS) A and B swimming squads competed for the title of KZNSC Primary School Boys’ A League Gala Champions on Friday, 8 March at Kings Park Pool.
The 10 participating schools included DPHS A, DPHS B, Glenwood Preparatory School (2018 winners), Clifton School, Virginia Preparatory School, Umhlali, Westville Senior Primary, Highbury Preparatory School, Atholl Heights Primary and Chelsea Preparatory School.
The gala consisted of 20 relay events, from ages U10 to open (U13).
DPHS A dominated the gala, winning 18 of the events, and successfully claimed the trophy back.
This gala has been on the school calendar since 1949 and DPHS has won it on 28 previous occasions.
