Three out of five for Quins’ teams
Harlequins Cricket Club teams won three and lost two league matches at the weekend.
FIVE of Umbilo Harlequins Cricket Club’s eight teams were engaged in league matches during the course of last weekend.
Results were:
Quins 6ths vs Chatsworth United 4: Chatsworth United made 127 runs; Quins won by one wicket.
Quins 2nds vs Lindelani: Lindelani made 106 runs; Quins won by four wickets.
Quins 3rds vs Berea Rovers: Quins scored 99 runs; Berea Rovers won in 15.1 overs.
Quins 5ths vs Chatsworth Sporting 5: Sporting made 107 runs; Quins 5 lost by two runs.
Quins U13s vs Umkomaas: Quins made 123 runs, but were beaten by Umkomaas.
There will be no more coaching sessions for juniors until Friday, 30 November. League matches for juniors will start in December.
Practice sessions for seniors will be held at the Harlequins nets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.30pm.
