PeacePlayers host tourney

PeacePlayers South Africa to host its 31st City Wide Tournament.

PEACEPLAYERS South Africa will host its 31st City Wide Tournament (CWT) on Saturday, 27 October at Hoy Park Recreational Sports Ground in Durban.

The tournament brings together over 550 youth in the PeacePlayers programme and approximately 100 youth from external schools around Durban. The basketball event starts off with scheduled warm up and ice breaker activities as a way to facilitate interaction between the different schools. At the end of the day a boys’ and girls’ team in each division will be crowned the 2018 PeacePlayers SA Champions.

PeacePlayers South Africa (PP-SA) is an NPO that unites, educates and inspire youth from diverse communities experiencing conflict across racial divides, through sustained, sports-based programming that is led by committed and effective local coaches and grounded in leadership development and conflict transformation.
