Premier League fan park extravaganza a first for Durban

English Premier League Football supporters of all teams cab congregate, associate and celebrate their favourite teams’ performances whilst enjoying a derby day of football, food and fun to kick off the Durban holiday season.

FOOTBALL fans are in for a treat this December as the English Premier League Fan Parks South Africa presents a Premier League Derby Day Extravaganza on Sunday, 10 December, 2017 at the Kings Park Stadium Precinct (outer fields).

The launch of the Fan Park is an initiative based on the principle of enabling English Premier League Football supporters of all teams to congregate, associate and celebrate their favourite teams’ performances whilst enjoying a derby day of football, food and fun to kick off the Durban holiday season. Kicking off at 10am, the derby will host several 5-a-side tournaments featuring teams and divisions of all age groups  – both male and female –  to get the ball rolling, plus a skills zone with prizes to be won in every division.

Then guests can kit up for the main feature of the day – two English Premier League Football matches that will be broadcast live on the largest outdoor daylight screen in the whole of South Africa with the games as follows:

16h30: Liverpool vs Everton

18h30: Manchester United vs Manchester City

Enjoy food and beverages featuring our diverse local cultures and tastes from a variety of food stalls and a beer tent, as well as a Legends Zone for avid fans that will feature previous Premier League players and well-known superstars. There will be a Kids Zone for the little ones (under 12), including jumping castles, obstacles courses and face painting. There will also be live entertainment including cheerleader routines, music and more!

“I am absolutely delighted to be able to host this inaugural British League Derby Day in Durban”, said Jermaine Moonsamy. “”The main reason we chose Durban is knowing the locals passionate support for their favourite teams and the game. What better way to bring fellow supporters together than by creating a true supporters and family event,”  added Moonsamy.

Tickets cost R80 (early bird) and R100 (general access) and children under 12 enter  free. Tickets are on sale at plankton.mobi. (https://plankton.mobi/)

Every ticket purchased will be entered into a raffle ticket draw where one lucky person can win an all-expenses paid trip for 2 to watch a Premier League match of their choice in the UK. Ts & Cs apply.
