Run the hope challenge

There will be a 5km fun run/walk, a 10km run/walk and a 21.1km run/walk.

GET your running shoes out for the Hope Challenge and Abstinence Run on 25 November starting at DUT, opposite Curries Fountain, at 6am.

There will be a 5km fun run/walk, a 10km run/walk and a 21.1km run/walk.

Cost is R70 for the 5km, R100 for the 10km and R150 for the 21.1km event. A temporary licence is R25 for the 10km and 21.1km races.

Final registration is on Friday, 24 November at DUT from noon to 6pm and on 25 November at Curries Fountain from 4.30am to 5.30am.

Age restriction for participants is nine years old for the 5km, 14 years old for the 10km and 16 years old for the 21.1km events.

Medals will be given to all finishers.
