UMBILO Harlequins Cricket Club starts its official fixtures on Sunday 24 September with a KZNCU group T20 Challenge league match at Harlequins at 1.30 pm.
All other teams will start their fixtures on 1 October and 8 October.
The club will be fielding one senior Saturday team, five senior Sunday sides as well as two junior teams. Any aspirant cricket players from the age of 10 to 13 years of age (as at 31 December 2017), are welcome to attend the coaching sessions offered by Quins at the nets on Van Riebeeck Park, off Garcin Place, on Thursdays from 4.30pm. Players of 14 years and older are encouraged to participate in the senior leagues.
Due to the official matches starting on Sundays, seniors’ training sessions will now revert exclusively to Fridays from 4.30pm.
