Enter 5km fun run
The run/walk starts at the Amphitheatre in front of Suncoast and goes along the boardwalk to the Durban Spa Vacation Resort and back.
RUNNERS are getting ready for the Hyper 5km Fun Run/Walk for Charity on Sunday, 10 September starting at 9.30am.
The run/walk starts at the Amphitheatre in front of Suncoast and goes along the boardwalk to the Durban Spa Vacation Resort and back. Pre-registration is recommended. The entry fee is R60 and includes a Sunflower Tope (Tube of Hope).
Prize-giving will take place directly after the race and five substantial lucky draw prizes will be awarded. People of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate as all money raised will be used to educate and register more blood stem cell donors to give hope of life to patients suffering from life-threatening chronic blood disorders like leukaemia.
The South African National Blood Services will be holding a mobile blood clinic and people are encouraged to support by donating blood.
Registration takes place at Suncoast Amphitheatre on Saturday, 9 September from 1pm to 3pm and Sunday, 10 September, from 7.30am to 9am. For any online registrations visit www.webtickets.co.za.
