ENJOY an outing with a local hiking club this weekend.

Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will hike at Delville Wood, Shongweni, on Saturday, 2 September.
Meet at 1.30pm at the closed Assagay Hotel/Engen Garage (571 Kassier Road) to depart at 1.45pm to the parking area.

Hike is through interesting old tunnels and to a waterfall, and is a bit strenuous at the end.
Drinks afterwards at the Polo Pony.

Grade 2 – moderate (one steep uphill); distance is ±9km.

On Sunday, 3 September, the group will hike at KZN Table Mountain (Cato Ridge).
Meet at 7.30am at Union Main Centre, 45 Old Main Road, Pinetown or at 8.15am at Cato Ridge Motors (close to Eddie Haven Drive, Cato Ridge). Petrol sharing R40.

Hike to the top of the KZN/ PMB Table Mountain to enjoy some of the escarpment and wonderful views of the Valley of a 1000 Hills, the Midlands in the far distance, the Msunduzi and Umgeni Rivers as well as the Nagle Dam.

Car guard R20. Guide – R25 members, R50 visitors.
