The event highlights the true beauty of Durban, while granting entrants the unique opportunity to explore their city.

GET your entries in for the FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN on Sunday, 8 October where some of the country's best athletes will compete against the world's best.

Organisers recently announced Reach For A Dream Foundation (RFAD) as an official charity of the inaugural event.

“RFAD believes in the power of dreams, encouraging children to use their dreams to fight life-threatening illnesses. We are proud to support the selfless work of this inspirational foundation. Entrants can show their support by making a donation towards RFAD when entering the event online. We look forward to welcoming thousands of runners to the start line in October, ready to explore their city while showing their support,” said Michael Meyer, managing director of Stillwater Sports.

The event highlights the true beauty of Durban, while granting entrants the unique opportunity to explore their city. In addition to exciting on-route entertainment and vibrant event atmosphere, entrants can look forward to exploring iconic landmarks including the Moses Mabhida Stadium, People’s Park, Old Fort, Juma Mosque, Durban Maritime Museum, City Hall, Human Rights Memorial Hall and the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry to mention just a few.

The run starts at 8am at Masabalala Yengwa Street in front of Moses Mabhida Stadium, and will end at the beachfront precinct adjacent to Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Entry fees are R160 for licensed runners, R180 for unlicensed runners, R650 for the Gold Package for licensed runners and R670 for the Gold Package for unlicensed runners.
