Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will take on a hike at Clifton Tower (Shongweni) on Saturday 16 July.
Meet at 1.30pm at the Assagay Hotel to drive through to the starting point at Denny’s Mushrooms off Kassier Road.
This will be a short hike up to the top of the hill to Clifton Tower to overlook the city and surrounds.
Drinks afterwards at the Polo Pony (Shongweni) Club.
Grade 2 – moderate (one uphill); distance will be ±5km.

On Sunday 17 July the group will hike from Paradise Valley Nature Reserve to the Pavilion.
Meet at 7.30am at the free shaded parking at rear of Pavilion (next to the recycle area).
This will be a linear walk from Paradise Valley Nature Reserve back to the Pavilion. Cars will be shuttled from Pavilion.
Petrol sharing R10; reserve fee R10.
Grade 3; distance is ±16km.
