DURBAN Primary School’s U13 A soccer boys were the undisputed champions at their soccer tournament held in chilly weather on 11 June.
This tournament, organised by Mr Veerasamy, deputy principal, has been going for 18 years. It was a very exciting final with the DPS boys beating old rivals Clarence 3 -0.
Player of the tournament was shared between Andile Langazane and Kwanda Ndlovu and top scorer was awarded to Andile Langazane, the deputy head prefect.
At the Honour assembly held during the week, Andile requested the trophy be handed over to Nkululeko Ntshangase, the head boy, as he was the one who set it up for him to score so many goals.
