Locals excel at baseball nationals

Local school boys took part in the KZN Baseball nationals in Cape Town.

KZN Baseball teams were in Cape Town for the nationals which were held from 30 March to 2 April.

The U12 team came third overall, the U15 team was fifth overall and the U18 team was fifth overall.

Boys from local schools made up the teams, with Penzance pupils Nathan Armitage, Joshua Badenhorst, Jarred Charles, Odin Kerkhof and Dylan McCrimmon in the U12 team, Glenwood High's Kylan Clack-Hill, Dylan Ebrahim, Nathan Grobler, Makaira Kerkhof, Dale Shooter and Cameron de Villiers and St Henry’s boys Marick Baronet and Tanna Ronne competing in the U15 team, and Glenwood High boys Christian Borg, Christopher Murphy, Kean van Rooyen, Keanu Stoltz, Jonathan Verral and Trent de Villiers and St Henry’s Tyler Badenhorst in the U18 team.
