Get out and about in nature this weekend with Durban Ramblers Hiking Club.

ENJOY outings with local hiking clubs this weekend.

Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will hike the Hillcrest/Keg Hike on Saturday 27 February.

Meet at the Keg situated at the back of Oxford Village, Hillcrest (old Heritage Market) at 1.45pm.

The hike goes down to the valley below with a small stream crossing. Some wooded areas, sugar cane and open areas. Meet back at the Keg for drinks afterwards.

Grading 2 – moderate and distance is 10km.

On Sunday 28 February there will be a hike at Gromor, Inchanga.

Meet at Union Main Centre, Old Main Road, Pinetown in time for a prompt 7am departure or meet at Inchanga Station at 7.30am.

A moderate hike through Gromor land, through the old railway nursery, across the railway bridge and back to Inchanga, where the group can enjoy the fleamarket and hopefully see the steam train. Petrol sharing R20. Grading 2 and distance is 15km.
