SISTERS, Kelsey and Jaime Jones both won the Dunlop Masters tennis tournament in their respective age groups recently.
Kelsey won the U14 girls section and Jaime who is still U10, won the U12 section. The tournament is played throughout the year with three legs and finally the Masters which is the top eight players. Kelsey also won the Masters in 2012 and 2013 playing U12. Jaime won the Masters in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Jaime also won the Wilson 10 and under Masters tennis tournament for the second year consecutive year. Both girls are coached by their mom Robyn, resident coach of Bellevue Tennis Club in Glenwood.
Robyn is a former professional who played at Wimbledon and the US Open. The sisters hope to follow in their mom’s footsteps. They both attend St Henry’s Marist Brothers college.
