Get out and about in nature this weekend with Durban Ramblers Hiking Club and Mountain Backpackers' Club.
ENJOY outings with hiking clubs this weekend.
Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will hike at the Cucumber Farm in Gillitts on Saturday 19 December.
Meet at St Helier Dam on St Helier Road at 1.45pm. Walk through parts of Giba Gorge up to Cucumber Farm and back down to St Helier Dam.
Grading 2 – Moderate.

On Sunday 20 December, the group will walk through Berea parks.
Meet at Oonagh Whitsitt Pool (Sutton Park) in Sutton Crescent at 8am.
Easy suburban walk through Sutton Park, Mitchell Park and Durban Botanic Gardens.
Take picnic lunch, money for a tea stop on the way and costumes for those that would like to swim in the pool afterwards.
Grading 2 – Distance ± 14km.

Mountain Backpackers' Club will hike at Kloof Gorge on 19 December.
Walk upstream to two waterfalls. The group will leave at 8.30am from the picnic site car park.
Small entrance fee. Take sun protection, hat, water, snacks and a rain jacket. Moderate fitness required.
