Learn to play the ‘Liverpool Way’

Liverpool Football Club's international summer coaching holiday programme for local kids kicks of this month were the young soccer rites will learn how to play the "Liverpool Way."

LOCAL children can learn how to play football the 'Liverpool Way' with the Liverpool FC International Academy South Africa coaching programme kicking off in Durban from 12 to 17 December at Chiltern Park, Westville.

Since its official launch in the country, more than a year ago, LFC International Academy South Africa, has coached and developed more than 2000 young players between the ages of 5 to 17 years in Johannesburg and Durban.

LFC International Academy South Africa offers both girls and boys the chance to receive quality coaching with the best International and local Liverpool certified Football coaches, in a fun and safe environment.

The training programme offers young players the opportunity to learn to play ‘The Liverpool Way’, which is underpinned by its core values of Ambition, Commitment, Unity and Dignity. The programme will follow the same philosophy and coaching principles that are delivered at the LFC Academy UK to ensure that all participants have a unique experience at the summer camps.

We are also proud and honoured to have professional football coach Chris Ochwat from Liverpool, as the head coach of LFC IASA. Chris is a highly skilled and remarkable coach with a proven coaching history and extensive experience within the field.”

On-going player development coaching will be delivered by LFC International Academy coaches each week and soccer schools will also be available to the young players during school holidays.
