KZN Water Skiing hosted an action packed event at Thornlea Dam recently.
Super League winner was Andrew Silver, with Dylan Lowe as runner-up.
Qualifying League winner was Kane Vass, with Mercedes van der Merwe as runner-up.
League winner was Shea Sutton and runner-up was Jason van der Merwe.
Mini League winner was Colin Dunsdon and runner-up was Gary Dunsdon.
PB Trophy for the most improved went to Kane Vass and the Bolt Head Trophy for effort and enthusiasm went to Aiden van der Merwe.
Upgrades from Mini League to League (more than eight points) was Colin Dunsdon and from League to Qualifying League (more than 16 points) was Shea Sutton.
Eric Cornhill and Wayne Cammidge concluded the day by running a jump school. Eight skiers were brave enough to give it a bash and only Aiden van der Merwe managed to land a jump. There were however a few close landings and a couple of epic fails.
The next Mini League will be on 1 November at Bird Valley Estate.
