Glenwood sailors fare well in regatta

GLENWOOD High School sailors fared well in the Royal Natal Yacht Club Regatta over the long weekend.

Brendan Humphreys skippered Container World Challenge with Josh Cannan, Christoff Schutte and Jethro Brophy-Tintinger among the crew.

Thursday saw the team sail to Umhlanga Rocks and back. On Saturday only one race could be completed as the wind died in the afternoon and on Sunday the race was held in the bay in spuperb conditions.

The boys finished in overall fifth position in their fleet and were recognised for the manner in which they conducted themselves both on and off the water.
