GLENWOOD High School were the Cup winners at the annual Photonote 7s Tournament hosted at the school on Saturday, 22 August.
Twenty teams from around the country participated in this tournament. Plate winners were Die Anker A, with Die Anker B the Bowl winners, and the Shield went to Hillcrest.
The tournament consisted of five pools with each team playing four knock-out matches.
Westville and DHS caused upsets to make it to the semi-finals, along with Glenwood and Glenwood Falcons. The teams contested in pool stages in a round robin format according to the 7s IRB format, after which the top placed team in each group progressed to the semi-finals.
