BEREA BC

RESULTS of the Glenwood Superspar played on 30 November: 1st: Steve van Rooyen, Dirk Roos, Beth Dewar and Yvonne Roos with 4+21; 1st session: Aubrey Masson, Enya Martin, Les Maswema and Pierre Langlios with 2+9; 2nd session: Rob Dudley, Dave Larkin, Penny Dudley and Dave White with 2+14.

Results of the Chicken Run played on 5 November: winners: Ron King, Ron David's and Willie Wanless with +12; runners up: Bob Jubber, George Anderson and Brian Edwards with +7; the raffle was won by Rob.

Results of the Berea Bowling Club Men's Novice Pairs: winners: Thorsten and Roger from Berea Bowling Club; 2nd: Clint Stols and Matt Riggien from Lahee Park Bowling Club ; 3rd: A Patrick and J Harry from Chatsworth Bowling Club; 4th: Terry Micholson and Robin de Gouveia from Wentworth Bowling Club.

JOCKEY and Orange River Cellers results for Wednesday 5 November: first: M Myeza, B Celine 2+17; second: T Phillips, L Du Preez, J Johnson 2+13; third: P Levy, B Saul, R Van Lenner 2+10; fourth: B King, D Smith, S De Kock 2+7.

STELLA PARK BC

TUESDAY’S nominated three bowl rollover Nominated Pairs was won by and currently on the perch Charles Bauristhene and Nick Baker 18+15; 2nd Steve van Rooyen and Bob Hayward 16+4, session winners Clive Du Plooy and Pierre Langlois.

Winners of Friday’s mufti were Glen Dorrofield and Mervyn.

Saturday’s, POP’s Print and The Anchorage Umbilo Road sponsored drawn trips won by Gordon May, Sterling Vermaak and Larry O’Brien.

Upcoming events: Friday mufti bowls at 4pm, dress casual, all welcome, followed by club draw at 6pm. Saturday/Sunday fishing/bowls competition, Saturday fishing at Fynlands Angling Club in the harbour from 6am to 12pm followed by braai. Sunday 8.30am competition continues with bowls and a braai, all welcome to bring and braai with live music from 1pm. Tuesday Nominated three bowl rollover pairs.
