DHS host waterpolo tourney

DHS will host the 2014 DHS Nashua U16 Water Polo Invitational Tournament this October.

DURBAN High School will be hosting its second U16 Boys’ Waterpolo Tournament from 10 to 12 October.

As the only U16 boys’ waterpolo tournament in the country, it is quickly becoming established as one of the country’s prestigious school age-group tournaments.

When DHS initiated this tournament last year, only seven schools participated, however this year, the numbers have grown to 16 schools from around the country. Local teams participating include DHS, Clifton College, Westville, Glenwood and Northwood Boys' High and some of the travelling schools include Grey Bloemfontein, King Edward VII School, St Davids, Affies and Selbourne.

DHS anticipates three days of action packed games with all the teams vying for the top spot and the winning trophy.
