Glenwood old boy runs for SA

Glenwood old boy will be aiming for a win while running at the World Junior Championships.

GLENWOOD High School Old Boy Sanwabiso Skhosana has been awarded his national Colours and will be representing South Africa at the World Junior Championships in the 400m and 4x400m relay at the end of July in Eugene, USA.

Sanwabiso left for Europe at the end of June to race in Brussels (Nivelles) and then moved on to Portugal to compete in the Portuguese National Junior Championships.

He has built up quite a reputation not only on the track but also in the field of academics. His goal in 2011 was to take part in the World Junior Championships in 2014 and he has accomplished this amazing achievement he set out for himself.

Sanwabiso is currently running the relay at a time of 46.11, and was fifth in the world junior rankings, with the difference between second and fifth a mere 0.14 seconds. He will be looking to better his time in the upcoming championships and place first in the world rankings.
