A TOTAL of 22 swimmers took part in The Sunflower Fund’s 2014 Miles4Marrow Midmar Mile Campaign which raised more than R50 000 for The Sunflower Fund.
Swimmers involved obtained sponsorship per mile covered. All money raised will be used to include new bone marrow stem cell donors on the South African Bone Marrow Registry in turn giving hope to children and young adults diagnosed with life-threatening blood disorders such as leukaemia.
The Sunflower Fund would thanked all the Miles4Marrow swimmers and their sponsors for their generous contributions.
