EDITOR – 21 days is a long time for home-alones not to be seen or heard.
There are about 49 residential blocks in North Beach alone, and each one could have alones. I hope that the Chairs of blocks are going to be checking up on alones every three days. This can be achieved by masking up, knocking on doors, seeing and exchanging a few words through closed windows.
Then contact details of the Chair and Super, on a small page, can be stuck on the outsides of windows and, on the first contact, an indication taken of when the best time to return will be, since each would have different times for sleeping, etc, when they should not be disturbed.
Home-alones will then feel not that alone, during #Covid19 #Lockdown at least.
