EDITOR – Feeling a bit down after a difficult morning on 19 February, I decided a cup of coffee would cheer me up. As Windermere Centre was close, I went into Wimpy for a cup of coffee.
While I scanned the paper for any good news, I lost some of the foam on the pages of the paper. I cleaned up the mess as best as possible and finished my drink.
Then the cheerful waitress approached and said ‘someone has paid for your cappuccino, aren’t you lucky!’
So to that ‘somebody’, thank you for paying for my coffee and for putting me in a more positive frame of mind.
