EDITOR – Following on from the removal of the blue container in Umbilo, any guesses on how long the “caravan takeaway” has been parked at the bottom of Clark Road? Five years? Ten years?
Maybe it’s tolerated by the community, unlike the blue container. I wonder if the Councillor of ward 33, SAPS and/or Metro Police have noticed if any laws, or by-laws have been violated.

We contacted the owner of the trailer. She is fully aware of the situation. Business Support has already issued her with a notice to remove the trailer.
