I can’t afford post office parcel fee

A pensioner feels handling fees for parcels at the post office are too costly.

EDITOR – Recently I had to refuse two parcels from the post office. They were from a family member is the USA. Yes, she put on the correct postage but I am supposed to pay the post office a handling fee.

I can’t afford it, so the post office must return it, at their expense. What will happen at Christmas when pensioners get gifts from family and friends overseas and also can’t pay, this will be interesting. Will the post office collapse completely?

I understand that if one orders items from Wish or any other company, the post office can add a fee, but a gift from family or friends in other countries? I don’t think it is fair. If the post office brought down the prices of stamps and parcels, more people would use it. This way, the couriers will soon take over and the post office will sink into the ground.
