Can you help make my dream come true?

"I am humbly pleading to anyone out there to help me reach the target of R42 000 by 31 July."

EDITOR – My name is Sange Matebese, a Grade 12 leaner at Durban Girls’ High School. At school I have held various leadership roles such as Touch Captain and Vice Captain, Drama Monitor, RCL Rep, Mentor, Class Vice Captain and was on the Matric Dance Committee. This year I am Touch Captain and a Prefect.

Outside of school, I play in the In2Touch League for The Scorpions and TRYFECTA. When I am not on the rugby field, you will find me on stage. I have been part of the KZN Young Performers Project since 2013 and have been cast member of many school productions including the Glenwood Boys’ High School Musical, of How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

I was selected as one of the South African All Stars at the Junior Inter-Provincial Tournament in 2016 to try out for the Junior World Cup Tournament 2018. Unfortunately, I could not attend trials as I had a lead role in a musical production and could not take time off for trials. During the Senior Inter-Provincial Tournament where I was playing for the KZN Ladies Team in March 2018, I was scouted by Mr L Levy (U18 SA Ladies Coach) to join the U18 World Cup Team.

As a late call up I am humbly pleading to anyone out there to help me reach the target of R42 000 by 31 July, for the tour.

Thanking you in advance for your support in making my dream come through.”
