EDITOR – Thank you for the report in the Berea Mail regarding the issue of prostitution.
I have tried in vain for many years to rid McKenzie Road of this problem. I own a semi-detached house in the road and my neighbour runs a lodge for prostitution. It has been virtually impossible to sell my side of the property, and the value has dropped so badly and this is my pension (I am 71 years old).

I could not even get it let! It has stood empty for seven months bringing in no money for my pension.
I honestly hope something will ‘get’ done and it doesn’t become just an article!
