Concrete road in shocking state

"There were massive holes in this stretch of road so much so that in some places even the steel rods under the surface were protruding outwards."

EDITOR – Just the other day I happened to drive along the stretch of concrete road between Southway Mall heading towards the N2 interchange.

I was appalled at the state in which this stretch of main road had been left. There were massive holes in this stretch of road, so much so that in some places even the steel rods under the surface were protruding outwards. I cannot believe that this road has been left in this state for so long.

Why has the traffic department (who use that road for drivers testing daily) not been able to motivate any kind of repairs to this road?

Driving along this road is like driving dodgems, yet all you see is a sign that says ‘Beware of pot holes’. That sign has a place in the out-lying areas not in the city.
