EDITOR – On behalf of the 13 children in Kenneth Gardens who were assisted with stationery I would like to thank the donors, staff of Standard Bank, Palm Stationers and Andrew Whysall, for their assistance.
We initially wanted to assist six children with stationery but ended assisting 13 children. The children would like to wish all the donors a happy new year as this has been a great start to their 2017, as prior to receiving these gifts, they were unsure if they would have any stationery to take to school.
Although we were able to assist with most of the stationery there are a few very urgent items that still are required, such as 13 Croxley mathematics sets, 13 basic calculators and 30 reams of photocopy paper for the children.
