EDITOR – The SA Legion of the Durban and District club made arrangements with various shopping complexes in and around the Morningside, Windemere and Durban North to be able to do the annual Poppy Day Collections on 12 November.
This is an annual fund raising event enabling the S.A.Legion to be able to support the ex-servicemen and women in need. It was a very hot day and after the collection the Legionnaires enjoying some refreshments at NMR.
The SA Legion would like to thank donors for their support, and in remembering those that had laid down their lives in the First and Second World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
