eThekwini website disappoints

A reader said residents wanting to access the agenda for a meeting on 317 Currie Road are not able to on eThekwini's website.

EDITOR – Those residents who have seen the value of their homes plummet as a result of the eThekwini Council’s incredible decision on 9 December 2011 to rezone the 317 Currie Road site from GR1 to GR5, who now attempt to establish just what it was that then City Manager (Mike Sutcliffe) recommended in his report on Serengeti Rise’s application, will be disappointed if they attempt to access the relevant agenda for this meeting using the “minutes and agendas” link on the Council’s official website “durban.gov.za”.

When they do they will find that there is no box in the drop-down menu labelled ‘agendas,’ how convenient for those senior municipal employees who presumably recommended that this outrageous application be approved.
