EDITOR – The DA in eThekwini will write to eThekwini City Manager, Sbu Sithole, seeking clarity on why busses were not operating for a few days last week.
Commuters using Durban Transport busses to travel around eThekwini were once again stranded and inconvenienced as the privately owned busses ran out of fuel. The situation was expected to cause more frustration when workers returned to work and children to school for the start of the new week. We cannot allow a situation where people lose jobs during this difficult time.
EThekwini municipality is focussing on factional battles rather than delivering services to the people.
