EDITOR – With regards to my recent email and post in the Berea Mail ‘circa’ 5th, December,
I just came passed Tollgate Bridge heading North, appx 1.45pm,18 December. I was approached by the young thug who pretends to be sick. I said, there’s nothing wrong with you and he utetred some racial obscenities. I reached and showed him my pepper spray. He went to the front nearside of my car and started banging it with a piece of wood,
I exited my car and approached him with a threat of pepper spray. He then collected his ‘ammunition, two large rocks perched on the Tollgate buttress in full view of people.
The Metro policeman over the road was quite aware of the proceedings and just shouted a couple of words over and didn’t even bother attending to this potential attack as he went about setting up his speed camera,
Is anything ever going to be done about this illegal pestering of pedestrians or motorists or are you awaiting the public to do it for you?
