Awareness day not well marketed

The Berea police's crime awareness day needed a bit more pre-publicity, says resident.

EDITOR – I attended the Berea Awareness Day that was held at the Berea Park on Saturday 28 March.

I would like to say that it was a great initiative by the CPF to host this kind of event, unfortunately the event was poorly attended, especially in the afternoon. The event was not widely publicised, I mean I did not see one street poster advertising the event. Clearly this event was not marketed properly.

I think there should be some level of professionalism regarding the main stage shows and safety demonstrations. The MC for the event was also clearly uninformed.

I would like the organisers to revise their entertainment programme and get people who know how to run this kind of event.
