Road in a sorry state

A resident is calling on action from Save Our Berea to help clean up Stephen Dlamini Road.

EDITOR – I would like to bring the sad state of Essenwood Road between Berea and Silverton Roads to the attention of Save Our Berea.

This stretch of road has become sadly neglected of late with garden and household rubbish left for days on the footpath. There is a large pile of tree branches and other garden rubbish lying on the footpath for at least two weeks now. Nothing apears to be done to remove it.

Nearer to Berea Road a well known children's charity deposits black bags containing household rubbish on the footpath on a Thursday afternoon despite DSW only collecting every Tuesday morning. These bags get torn and some of the contents strewn all over the place. This has been brought to the attention of those concerned but to no avail.

Perhaps a call from SOB might help.
