The Diwali celebrations have begun therefore kindly make the necessary arrangements to keep your pets safe and let’s join together as a nation to practice love, respect and tolerance for every race, religion and specie! Also ensure that fireworks are lit with caution and that children are always under adult supervision. The time of Diwali is one of the most festive and beautiful times in the Hindu calendar. It is a time filled with light and love; a time when Hindus all over the world rejoice the triumph of good over evil. During this dark time where communities are fraught with violence, anger, hatred, jealousy and corruption, let us as Hindus practice the principles of dharma by respecting and looking after our elderly, teaching our children good ethics and morals and ensuring that they receive an education, and as people and as communities let us be good and kind to one another and let us start making choices that will ensure that good does triumph over evil.
