Mothwa Haven raising funds through dance event

Do not miss the opportunity to dance the night away under the stars, as Mothwa Haven Retirement Home brings Dance By The Starlight. This entertainment-filled event aims to raise funds for the elderly residents and for the upkeep of the facility. General public and vendors are welcome.

MOTHWA Haven Retirement Home is on a mission to raise funds for the upkeep of the facility. On July 26, residents will be gracing the dance floor, with the assistance of professional dancers from LDC Dance Academy.

The event, Dance by Starlight, is open to the public and will be held at the retirement home, starting at 16:30 until late. On offer will be food stalls, a charity shop, live music by Abbey Road and Terrell Jordan and dancing by the LDC Dance Academy.

Kas Naicker, the house manager at Mothwa Haven, said, “We are hosting the dance night in order to raise funds for frail care and improvement of the home. It is also going to be a jovial night for our 75 residents.”
