Fashion and horse racing come together in true Durban July style at the official Hollywoodbets Durban July Gallops on Thursday morning (June 26) ahead of the Hollywoodbets Durban July next weekend.

THE Hollywoodbets Durban July is just a week away, and in preparation for the iconic Durban event, Hollywoodbets hosted the official Hollywoodbets Durban July Gallops on Thursday morning (June 27), where racegoers were given a sneak preview of the protagonists for the main race as well as some of the glamorous designs that will be seen on July 6.

Jockeys, designers, models and event organisers came together to give racegoers a chance to see a bit of what can be expected at the 2024 edition of Africa’s greatest horse-racing event!

According to a statement released by Hollywoodbets, eleven of the 20 horses, including two reserves, that make up the final field for the seventh race at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on July 6, were put through their paces on the city track where they will battle for glory next weekend. The remaining nine, the Gauteng contingent, had their gallops recorded and shown on the big screen.
